§3.5–805. (a) Beginning July 1, 2025, a unit of State government may not procure or deploy a new system that employs artificial intelligence unless the system complies with the policies and procedures adopted under § 3.5–804 of this subtitle. (b) A unit of State government that employs high–risk artificial intelligence shall conduct regular impact assessments, as determined by the Governor’s Artificial Intelligence Subcabinet of the Governor’s Executive Council.
