"Trauma center"

Sec. 5. As used in this chapter, "trauma center" means a hospital that: (1) provides trauma care and has been verified as a trauma center by the American College of Surgeons; (2) has been designated a trauma center under a state designation system that is substantially equivalent to the American College of Surgeons verification process, as determined by the state department; or (3) has been deemed to be in the process of American College of Surgeons verification pursuant to 836 IAC 1-2.1.
