Miss. Code Ann. § 73-3-117
in effectThe secretary shall receive a salary in such amount and payable in such manner as the Board of Commissioners may prescribe from time to time. No other officer shall be paid a salary. But the traveling expenses of members of the board attending meetings of the board and such expenses of committees making trips on business of the bar shall be paid.
