The operator of any child residential home shall provide notification in accordance with this chapter within sixty (60) days of beginning operation. All child residential homes operating on July 1, 1989, shall either apply for a license from the Department of Public Welfare pursuant to Section 43-15-5, Mississippi Code of 1972, or file notification in accordance with this chapter, prior to August 1, 1989.
