In addition to the powers otherwise provided by this chapter, the district may exercise any power granted to a county or a public hospital by Sections 61.035 , 61.057 , 61.058 , and 61.059 , Health and Safety Code, as those sections existed on September 30, 2009, including the power to require a person to comply with a corresponding duty. Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 91 (S.B. 1303 ), Sec. 22.007(a), eff. September 1, 2011.
