(220 ILCS 25/1.02) (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 571.02) Sec. 1.02. "Interconnection" means the facilities necessary to physically connect the energy source and the point of use by a private energy entity with the existing transmission facilities of a public utility, and shall include any necessary transformation, compression or other facilities necessary to make such interconnection effective.
