Regional facility for the treatment and rehabilitation of children defined.
Nev. Rev. Stat. § 62A.280
in effect1. Regional facility for the treatment and rehabilitation of children means a regional facility which provides court-ordered treatment and rehabilitation for children and which is administered by or for the benefit of more than one governmental entity.
2. The term includes, but is not limited to:
(a) The facility in Clark County known as Spring Mountain Youth Camp;
(b) The facility in Douglas County known as China Spring Youth Camp; and
(c) The facility in Lyon County known as Western Nevada Regional Youth Facility.
3. The term does not include:
(a) Any local facility for the detention of children; or
(b) The Nevada Youth Training Center, the Caliente Youth Center or any state facility for the detention of children.
