Mo. Rev. Stat. § 392.110
in effect392.110. No contract for exclusive use of land. — No company shall have power to contract with any owner of land for the right to erect or maintain a telephone or telegraph line over his lands, to the exclusion of the lines of other companies organized under the provisions of sections 392.010 to 392.170 .
