(a) Not later than the 20th day after the date the person receives the notice under Section 504.303 , the person may: (1) accept the department's determination and proposed administrative penalty; or (2) make a written request for a hearing on that determination. (b) If the person accepts the department's determination, the department by order shall approve the determination and assess the proposed penalty.
