in effectNotwithstanding the amendment of 24 Pa.C.S. § 8501(e) and 71 Pa.C.S. § 5901(e), the Governor's Office of General Counsel shall continue to provide legal counsel and legal services to the Public School Employees' Retirement Board and the State Employees' Retirement Board until such time as each board appoints a chief counsel and such other counsel as it deems necessary to provide it with legal services and through its secretary gives such notice to the General Counsel.
