(65 ILCS 5/3.1-25-30) (from Ch. 24, par. 3.1-25-30) Sec. 3.1-25-30. Petition of candidacy. The petition in the nomination papers shall contain a number of signatures of electors residing within the same village as the candidate equal to at least 1% of the total vote cast at the last preceding election in the village for president.
