(a) Subject to the restrictions in Section 240.084 , the commissioners court of a county subject to this subchapter may by order regulate the location of communication facility structures in the unincorporated areas of the county. (b) The regulations may include a requirement for a permit for the construction or expansion of the facility and may impose fees, not to exceed $50, on regulated persons to recover the cost of administering the regulations. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 945 (H.B. 843 ), Sec. 1, eff. June 18, 2005.
