Applicability of chapter 128 of NRS to proceedings concerning termination of parental rights; authority of agency which provides child welfare services to file motion for termination of parental rights.
Nev. Rev. Stat. § 432B.5901
in effect1. The provisions of chapter 128 of NRS, to the extent they do not conflict with the provisions of NRS 432B.5901 to 432B.5908 , inclusive, apply to all proceedings concerning the termination of parental rights that are commenced pursuant to this section by an agency which provides child welfare services.
2. If a child is determined to be a child in need of protection pursuant to NRS 432B.550 , an agency which provides child welfare services may, at any stage of a proceeding held pursuant to this chapter, file a motion for the termination of parental rights as part of the proceeding.
