Child defined.
Mo. Rev. Stat. § 491.678
in effect491.678. Child defined. — For purposes of sections 491.675 to 491.693 , the term "child" means a person under seventeen years of age who is the alleged victim in any criminal prosecution under chapter 565 , 566 or 568 .
