(a) The mayor and members of the governing body of the City of Nassau Bay shall appoint voting directors. A person is appointed if a majority of the members of the governing body, including the mayor, vote to appoint that person. (b) Section 375.063 , Local Government Code, does not apply to the district. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 589 (S.B. 1999 ), Sec. 2, eff. June 16, 2007.
