(a) The advisory board by rule shall establish examination requirements for a certificate under this chapter. The advisory board may use the entry level examination prepared by the National Board for Respiratory Care or an equivalent examination. (b) An applicant for a certificate or temporary permit must pass a jurisprudence examination approved by the advisory board. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1420, Sec. 14.339(c), eff.
