316.218. Penalty. — 1. Any person who knowingly operates, causes to be operated or directs someone to operate an amusement ride in violation of sections 316.203 to 316.233 is guilty of a class A misdemeanor. 2. Any person who knowingly makes a false statement, representation, or certification in an application, record, report, or other document filed or required to be maintained under sections 316.200 to 316.237 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable under section 575.060 .
