(a) As provided by Chapter 375 , Local Government Code, the district may make an agreement with or accept a gift or grant from any person. The district shall promptly notify the city of any gift or grant accepted by the district. (b) The implementation of a project is a governmental function or service for the purposes of Chapter 791 , Government Code. Added by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 878 (H.B. 4147 ), Sec. 1, eff. June 18, 2015.
