Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "state officer" means an individual who holds one (1) of the following elected offices: (1) Attorney general. (2) Secretary of state. (3) State comptroller. (4) Treasurer of state. As added by P.L.132-2024, SEC.3.

Sec. 2. A state officer who is not prohibited from possessing a handgun under state or federal law has the right to carry a handgun within the state capitol building and on the property of the state capitol complex. As added by P.L.132-2024, SEC.3.
