(230 ILCS 10/7.8) Sec. 7.8. Home rule. The regulation and licensing of organization gaming licensees and gaming conducted pursuant to an organization gaming license are exclusive powers and functions of the State. A home rule unit may not regulate or license such gaming or organization gaming licensees. This Section is a denial and limitation of home rule powers and functions under subsection (h) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution. (Source: P.A. 101-31, eff. 6-28-19.)
