(a) A person who violates Section 122.356 is liable to this state for a civil penalty in an amount not to exceed $500 for each violation. (b) The attorney general or any district or county attorney may bring an action to recover the civil penalty. (c) A civil penalty collected under this section must be deposited in the hemp transportation account under Section 122.355 . Added by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 764 (H.B. 1325 ), Sec. 2, eff.
