(a) The converted association shall file with the commissioner: (1) a copy of the charter issued to the federal association by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency; or (2) a certificate showing the organization of the association as a federal association, certified by the secretary or assistant secretary of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. (b) Failure to file a required instrument with the commissioner does not affect the validity of the conversion. Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 464 (S.B. 1008 ), Sec. 4, eff. September 1, 2013.
