(a) The office shall conduct all hearings under this subchapter in a timely manner. (b) The office shall use every reasonable means to expedite a case under this subchapter when the comptroller requests that the office expedite the case. (c) This section is not intended to impair the independence of the office in conducting a hearing under this subchapter. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 354 (S.B. 242 ), Sec. 3, eff.
