in effectViolations of any provisions of this chapter by a home improvement salesperson likewise constitute cause for disciplinary action against the contractor by whom he or she was employed at the time the violation occurred, whether or not the contractor had knowledge of or participated in the act or omission constituting violations of this chapter.
