(40 ILCS 5/6-189) (from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 6-189) Sec. 6-189. To subpoena witnesses. To compel witnesses to attend and testify before it upon any matter concerning the fund, and, in its discretion, allow fees not in excess of $6 to any such witness other than a fireman for attendance upon any one day.
