2. The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, in consultation with the American Association of Adapted Sports Programs, shall establish interscholastic athletic programs adapted for participation by student-athletes with physical disabilities or visual impairments who are participating in an adapted athletic program developed by a school district. The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association shall require any coach of an adapted athletic program to receive training specific to that program. L.2009, c.109, s.3.
