(a) The district may add or exclude territory in the manner provided by Subchapter J , Chapter 49 , Water Code. (b) Not later than the 10th day after the date on which the district annexes or excludes territory, the board shall send to the comptroller a certified copy of any resolution, order, or ordinance relating to the annexation or exclusion.
