1. Before a registered apprentice may take the examination for a license to practice the profession of embalming pursuant to NRS 642.090 , the registered apprentice must have graduated from an accredited and approved embalming college or school of mortuary science, as prescribed by NRS 642.080 . 2. A registered apprentice may take the examination for a license to practice the profession of embalming pursuant to NRS 642.090 before the registered apprentice has completed the required 1 year of apprenticeship.
