Miss. Code Ann. § 71-3-225
in effectIf any provision of Sections 71-3-201 through 71-3-225 or application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of Sections 71-3-201 through 71-3-225 that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of Sections 71-3-201 through 71-3-225 are severable.
