Ind. Code § 21-39-1-1 Definitions

Sec. 1. The definitions in this chapter apply throughout this article [2007 Higher Education Recodification Citation: New.] As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.280.

Ind. Code § 21-39-1-2 "Police officer"

Sec. 2. "Police officer" refers to a police officer employed by a state educational institution under IC 21-39-4. [2007 Higher Education Recodification Citation: New.] As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.280.

Ind. Code § 21-39-1-3 "Political subdivision"

Sec. 3. "Political subdivision" has the meaning set forth in IC 36-1-2-13. [Pre-2007 Higher Education Recodification Citation: 20-12-1-8(a) part.] As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.280.

Ind. Code § 21-39-1-4 "Violation"

Sec. 4. "Violation" refers to the existence of: (1) a violation of a federal law or regulation; (2) a violation of a state law or rule; (3) a violation of an ordinance of a political subdivision; or (4) the misuse of public resources.
