In this chapter: (1) "Bond" means a bond required by this chapter to be given by a person appointed to serve as a guardian. (1-a) "Declaration" means a declaration taken by a person appointed to serve as a guardian to qualify to serve. (2) "Oath" means an oath taken by a person appointed to serve as a guardian to qualify to serve. Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 823 (H.B. 2759 ), Sec. 1.02, eff. January 1, 2014.
