(225 ILCS 115/25.13) (from Ch. 111, par. 7025.13) (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec. 25.13. Summary suspension. The Secretary may summarily suspend the license of a licensee without a hearing, simultaneously with the institution of proceedings for a hearing provided for in Section 25.2 of this Act, if the Secretary finds that the evidence indicates that a licensee's continuation in practice would constitute an imminent danger to the public. In the event that the Secretary summarily suspends the license without a hearing, a hearing shall be commenced within 30 days after such suspension has occurred and shall be concluded as expeditiously as possible.
