23-30-114. Board to choose chancellor and certain staff. (1) It is the duty of the board of governors of the Colorado state university system to choose: (a) A chancellor of the Colorado state university system, who shall serve as the chief executive officer of the system; and (b) Other system staff that report directly to the board.
