(225 ILCS 443/210) (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2028) Sec. 210. Home rule. The regulation and licensing of the practice of interpreting are exclusive powers and functions of the State. A home rule unit may not regulate or license interpreters for the deaf.
