The Act of Aug. 4, 1947 (61 Stat. 726), is amended— “(a) by striking out the words ‘the Territories and island possessions of the United States’ and inserting in lieu thereof the words ‘the United States and its island possessions’ in section 1 and 2; “(b) by striking out the words ‘Territory of Hawaii and’ in section 1; “(c) by striking out the word ‘Territorial’ and inserting in lieu thereof the word ‘State’ in section 3; and “(d) by striking out the words ‘Hawaiian Islands’ and ‘Territory of Hawaii’ and inserting in lieu thereof, in both cases, the words ‘State of Hawaii’ in section 4.
