12.1-32-13. Minor convicted of felony - Sentencing Whenever a minor is convicted of a felony, the sentencing court may commit the person to the North Dakota youth correctional center as provided in this title. Provided, however, that a minor over the age of sixteen who is convicted of a felony may be sentenced to a penal institution or detention facility.
