(225 ILCS 60/56) (from Ch. 111, par. 4400-56) (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027) Sec. 56. Any person who employs fraud or deception in applying for or securing a license under this Act, or in passing any examination therefor, shall be sentenced as provided by Section 59. Any person who employs fraud or misrepresentation in applying for, or procuring, a license under this Act or in connection with applying for renewal of a license under this Act, or cheating on or attempting to subvert the licensing examinations administered under this Act, shall be sentenced as provided by Section 59.
