in effect512.270. Judge assigned to hear case anew. — The judge assigned to hear the cause shall proceed to hear, try and determine the same anew with a record of the proceedings being made, without regarding any error, defect or other imperfection on the trial, judgment or other proceedings of the associate circuit judge in relation to the cause.
