Financial incentives prohibited The department may not offer or pay, directly or indirectly, any material inducement, bonus, or other financial incentive to a participating provider based on the denial or delay of medically necessary and appropriate prescription drug therapy or based on a reduction in the proportion of recipients who receive prescription drug therapy under the medical assistance program.
